Yve Laris Cohen's work has been featured in solo exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in 2022, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, in 2018. He has performed and exhibited at numerous institutions, including Performance Space, New York; The Kitchen, New York; Danspace Project, New York; The Hessel Museum of Contemporary Art at Bard, Annandale-on-Hudson; Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia; Sculpture Center, New York, and Abrons Art Center, New York. He was included in the 2014 Whitney Biennial and Performa 2019.
Laris Cohen was born in 1985 in San Diego and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated with a BA in Art Practice and Dance & Performance Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University. His work is included in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
